MY SERVICE

My name is Sara and I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I facilitate individual counselling.

Group counselling will be offered in 2022.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a form of counselling that focuses on challenging and changing thoughts, behaviours and emotions.

 

CBT is a short term course of therapy with long term effects.

 

CBT provides a space to talk as well as education, life skills, practical tools, coping strategies and problem solving.

I facilitate therapy online, via Zoom, which means you can receive help in the comfort of your own home.​

Keeping with the guidance of the NHS and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, I offer 6 - 12 one hour weekly sessions of online therapy. 

I will help nurture and support you to achieve your goals. The power to create new possibilities is within you. You just might need a helping hand.

Unlike other therapists, my service includes a 'Digital Diary' where a summary of the session is written for self-reflection and as a reminder of key points, learning, new strategies and tasks to do out with sessions.

For six years, I have worked in Additional Support Needs. I can adapt the therapy that best supports a person that identifies to have Additional Support Needs.
